Dash AC diverter question

on my dash ac when switching from floor to dash to defrost the drivers side works properly but the passenders side will not do to the dash vents. I looked at the vacuum actuators that are moving the vent doors and they are both moving but when the switch is put in the dash position they do not go to the same spot. is this pictured below what moves and positions them? if so what is it called??? the vacuum hose goes from the positioner to this device.. or am I totally wrong and the vacuum controlled positioner is bad even though it moves from floor to defrost???

Real possibility that something fell down the defrost vent and is keeping if from moving all the way. Seen it happen on a car

It moved its full  range just didn't go to the right position compared to the drivers side which works correctly

Keith,
I think I see two wires going to that device, are their more on the other side?
I don't know how that thing works. If more than two wires it may depend on which wire is hot in which switch position.
Wiggle those connections. Might help.

follow up and problem solved..... I hadn't noticed that the floor/dash switch on the passenger side was set to floor, so it was overriding the main switch. when it was set to dash the dash vents on the passengers side worked. chalk this up to another newby learning experience......
