Water Pump Pressure

Back in 2014 the PO had a new water pump put in our coach. 
Aquajet : Remco

Today as I was finishing the Manabloc rebuild I noticed the label on the pump says;
ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE 75 - 85 PSI whereas the one in the link (a newer model) says 60 - 75 PSI.

With all the concern about regulating coach shore line water pressure to about 55 PSI I'm looking at a pump that may be producing
around 50% more pressure in the lines.

School me please.

Yes, that's the wrong pump for our application.  The PO may not have had a choice when his old pump failed.  I'd change it before it causes water system leaks.  I've not seen many of us using Remco pumps, but there are clearly models they make that are suitable for use in our coaches.

X2 way too much unnecessary pressure.

We installed the aquajet aes 65 psi pump last fall. Happy with it.

Might want to talk to folks at rvwaterfilterstore. They only sell the aquajets and do provide good support.

Could be you only need to add a pressure regulator to the pump output.

Same brand different color? Looks like the same. How did the bulbs turn out or do you know yet?

The bulbs won't happen for a while yet with a long list of other stuff to do.

Is the SeaFlo pump you linked to nice and quiet?

My quiet is probably not the same for everyone else . Water pump and AC does not bother me. I didn't use the rubber feet on it so I can hear it surge from anywhere in the rv. I like to hear it.. if I get a leak I won't wonder where the water went

FWIW.............I just got off the phone with a Remco tech.

He said my pump runs at about 55 PSI while a fixture(s) is open, then when the fixture(s) is closed the pump will shut off at 80 PSI.
The shutoff PSI is non-adjustable and the 10 PSI variance is to allow for electronic control error factor.

He also said that Remco works closely with a lot of RV manufacturers, they have spent a lot of time with R&D, my pump is common to all of them and the PEX system shouldn't burst until 130 PSI.

We're using a ShureFlo 2088 rated at 45 PSI.  Nothing fancy, and parts to repair and replace are easy to come by.

Funny as we want to be dry camp capable easier.

So I leave a low flow not perfect system in place.  Reduces water flow
