The batteries at 52% this morning! Need to load the refer & freezer next, but very pleased...so far. Looks like my use over night, after solar quit, was 172A.

George, caught me on my math. I'll blame it on the anesthetic!
Dave can you confirm the exact battery you purchased....cost....and where you installed them.  A picture of the installed location would be great!  Also so its all in this thread the solar components you have installed.  Thanks.

Thanks for continuing to post results.  Very similar patterns as was to be expected.  I still have anxiety when we hit 50% but I will adjust.  I have been running the uline to see where we go with it.  10ah monster that it is but we maintain nicely.

Here is a pic of the battery install, along with the solar controller, the wiring still needs to be tidied up. I have 12 Grape, 100W panels, on sale less than $100 ea. delivered. I don't have a picture of the install, and can't get on the roof right now to clean them && take pictures.

George gives good advice on the solar panel purchase, size doesn't matter.

Andy, As far as I know Battle Born only sells one battery, have you visited their web site ?

Edit. Included in the wiring bundle is a temp switch that activates a siren in the galley.

If you haven't closed them, you may want to leave the vents in place.  On the 97 bay they may have been designed to vent fumes but they have so far kept the temperatures well within the range I was hoping for.  Air is forced in over the top and then to panel and then out the bottom.

This is very straight forward install.

Thanks Dave.  Clean install. What do you figure you saved in weight and space for the capacity you have?  I've been watching these lithium batteries online and this is definitely the direction I'd like to go....after we find our coach👍.  Keep the results coming over time. Are you monitoring heat n the battery bay?
