Battery/Boost?

Went to change coach batteries removed them and noticed that inverter still was on. Thought boost solenoid was closed checked switch it was off. Check continuity at solenoid open/none any thoughts. Have chassis battery voltage at coach battery terminals. Could it be isolator?  Many Thanks Joey G

Does sound like shorted diode in isolator

Remove your start battery cable from the isolater lug and if it changes, you have your answer.

yes, search "isolator" and you will learn a lot.

I would look to get exactly the same. After all, it's lasted 21 years.

It would be helpful if you could snap a photo of your old isolator and post it.  Then your question will be quickly answered.

Photos below of the original 190A 4-post isolator in our '93 U280.  Knowing Foretravel, yours is probably different.

Cant get to coach right now. Looks same except 3 terminals.

Look online at O'rielly's site and punch in 200 amp - 3 posts. They have them as does everyone, or will bring it in next day for you.
