Shower head brass water line

The flexible brass water line that connects the shower head to the supply fitting ruptured and blew out the plastic insert on the end that screws into the water supply.  That end is crimped to hold this plastic piece therefore not repairable;  and of course there's no longer any such thing as a brass anything.  There are plenty of chrome ones on the market but I'd like to stay with brass to match the original color of the fixtures in the bath.  Would anyone who may have upgraded their fixtures happen to have this line and willing to part with it?  or any suggestions how a repair might be possible.  Checked with FT and they don't have anything;  not even the mod shop.

I am pretty sure I have the replaced one at home ... we are not there until around the end of April. So checking at Amazon -

Ill prolly order a new one here in a month also (oil rubbed bronze color and replace the brass).. not sure how soon you would need.

How important is the vacuum breaker at the input connection?  That went out a few months ago so I removed it because couldn't find a local replacement.

The vacuum breaker is a code requirement in some locations, probably in TX at that time, maybe an RVIA requirement.  This prevents your shower hose from siphoning water back into your coach water system from the floor of the shower or a bucket.  When we did ours the vacuum braker was about $70.  We skipped it.  You might need the part that goes on the wall that the hose connects to.

I think the problem with the vacuum breaker or hose breaking off is the way in which they're mounted from FT (I think FT).

My ell fitting at the shower wall was facing up, so once the breaker and hose were attached the overly long hose was putting
undue stress/weight on the plastic fittings at the ell (the ell itself is metal) causing one or the other to break, in my case it was the vacuum breaker. 

I got a new vacuum breaker, installed it facing down by rotating the ell, then ran the shower hose around the slider bar to give
it more support.  It looks better and after almost a year seems sound.

My breaker broke in December. Bought a replacement on Amazon under $30.

Because mine was pointing up and this is my first FT I assumed that it was OEM.

Ideally there should be a shorter hose pointing up to allow the hand held option without putting undue stress on the fittings.

Thx for the sources for the hose;  ordered one today.  BTW,  the swivel head no longer holds the shower head in place;  nylon washers worn and snugging the screw doesn't work.  Fashioned a clip to hold the head up for the time being.  Trying to avoid purchasing a new assembly just for a couple of worn nylon washers.  Tried the usual sources, (Ace, Home Depot, Lowes) no luck.  Any ideas?

Not sure about the snugging screw, but you might try star washers.

Hmm. when I replaced ours , I just went to a residential plumbing outfit.... They had a full shelf of them...$10 or so.

Cost me under $10 at the local plumbing & supply.....NOT Lowes or Ace or Home Depot, they had no clue.
