Cummins Speed Sensor Error

CHeck engine light came on as I was driving out of RV park this am.  Shows a Speed Sensor Abnormal error code.  From what I read cruise should be disabled.  Cruise works, speed indication works, but check engine light will not reset.  Any suggestion?  I am suspecting the connector became wet as I drove through a puddle immediately prior to check engine light.

That is probably it. Mine went off on a bump and also when it was wet. I had my over speed limit removed from the ECM so that did not happen any longer.  You can remove and reinstall the sensor and see if that helps.  Also if you have a seal issue with the transmission leaking it might hit that sensor too.

When yours went off did the check engine light reset?  Diagnostics shows one incident but has not reset since.

Never mind.  I was able to reset Check Engine light manually.
