Speedometer/odometer sender
About 1/3rd of the time and by itself my odometer very rapidly is alternating between trip miles and total miles. And the numbers are fluttering enough to be unreadable. Pushing the reset button is of no help. Hum, first I want to check the sender to see if it is not fully grounded or has a chaffed wire, etc. Presumably it located on the transmission for my ISL 450. Where is it?
Most likely though the speedometer is at fault and its time to replace it. Any suggestions or tests will be appreciated.
