Safe - I'm stupid

Went to open safe.  Punched in combo, safe beeped, safe wouldn't unlock.  Tried several times.  No luck. 

Defiant Safe - oops.  Looked up La Gard and found website for keypad.  Said 2 beeps for correct combo, 3 for incorrect.  Tried combo, 2 beeps, won't unlock.  Tried incorrect combo, 3 beeps.  Tried correct combo, 2 beeps, won't unlock.

Finally had an epiphany.  Replaced battery.  Tried combo, 2 beeps, unlocks.  YEA. 

Apparently, there was enough power to work keypad and beeper, but not enough to work latch.

Yeah - you're not the first one.  Some of us went to far as to re-confirm the combination with the selling dealer...
