Mirror removal

What awaits me if I attempt to remove the nearly full length mirror directly in front of the toilet, what were they thinking? Also the one above the bed headboard, and the one  to the right of the preachers seat? The one on the wardrobe fell off on the way home and it appears that foretravel used damaged panels behind that one. Somebody has BTDT

I Have been there/done that and I use a cross cut saw about 16" long blade and push it between mirror and wall. Work down as you go and should come off in one piece. They usually have a fibreglass weave on back for strength. Silicone caulk was used to hold them on.

I use a 16ga wire strung between 2 wooden dowels  ^.^d

Ha! We also have an '89 Grand Villa, and though I appreciate the mirrors for helping bounce the light around and break up all the wood, I thought the same thing about that mirror on the bathroom door. I was relieved to sit down and find that at least there was no "Twilight Zone" effect, with infinite diminishing reflections.......front/back...front/back...front/back......
The mirror between the vanity and medicine cabinet is shot and looks like a beast to try to remove. Our plan is to install thin backsplash tile in that space right over the mirror. Really don't need MORE mirror.

Whats behind the mirrors?  There must be 150# of  useless glass inthere.
  I see a slight need for a small one over the pot for the above mentioned Twilight Zone "  That would be usefull.
The rest are bellybutton altitude. No body needs to see that.:)
