Ladder Parts

Took apart the ladder to do some paint repair. Anyone know what the star shaped nut is called and where I can purchase some?

I have some new tube connectors (star nuts)  if you want them.  I bought them and then decided to just replace the whole ladder.  PM me if you are interested.

I have a whole ladder ready to go brand new. But, thinking about taking the letter off and just using my portable that I keep in the coach. Never been really comfortable walking up that ladder in the back. Don't feel like it's strong enough for my weight. And since I need to bring a ladder with me anyway I can just use that to get up wherever I need to go, and I think it looks better without the ladder.

You could go done to  your local bike store as that is what is used to hold the stem on a mountain bike.
