2001 GV320 Ebay

Hello, new member here, my wife and I are in the market for our first MH, we've spent many internet hours researching older high end coaches, Foretravel is tops on our short list. While I'm fairly mechanically  inclined I've never owned an RV before so our plans included a professional inspection before we buy. I ran across this 2001 GV320 on Ebay, being offered by Karolina Koaches in Piedmont SC, near Greenville. There are many pictures, cracked windshields some body scuffs and some sort of clear coat failure under a window, looks like the window seal could also be suspect as well, maybe a leak. My questions, is anyone familiar with this coach, is anyone near this area that may be able to take a quick look for obvious problems and possible bulkhead problems? Does anyone know a qualified person in this area for hire to perform a complete inspection if we decide to make a play on this unit?
Any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

Looks very nice in photo's, If not on eBay I would try to buy over the phone, with sale subject to your driving the rv and having it inspected when you get there by an independent mechanic once you have driven and decided to complete the sale.  I would make sure to make sale subject to these two conditions.  Questions I would ask is what is included in their delivery, walk thru with their mechanic, inspection by their mechanic, checking and repairing roof seals, safety items, etc.  Now......since this sale is eBay (read conditions "sold as is",  I would not be afraid to buy on eBay since this is from a reputable dealer with the following rating "Recent Feedback ratings (last 12 months)
                                    1 month   6 months   12 months
Positive feedback rating   Positive   2   33   84
Neutral feedback rating   Neutral   0   0   0
Negative feedback ratingNegative   0   0   0"
Just make sure this is the rv you want and meets your needs, as eBay sales are final (read terms in their listing on eBay.  Also be prepared to spend an additional $10,000 should anything come up in the next year.  I do not think you'll find a nicer unit for this price unless maybe from someone on this forum wanting to sell.  Main advice in all purchases, know who you are dealing with, including anyone in a forum.  An eBay rating of this volume at 100% is not easy to acquire and for that reason I'd have no problem buying off of eBay.  If the coach had problems they would not market thru eBay as this sale could cost them more than they would gain.

Looks good at first glance for the price. However 2-3K in windshields and could be additional problems that caused the cracks. Paint and body issues. How old are the tires and batteries both house and chassis. Bulkheads, slide out bladder seal? I notice there doesn't appear to have any updating done inside. Really need to find an inspection service that knows Foretravel, bucks can start adding up quick

Be sure to check for fiberglass delamination around the windshields. Foretravel won't replace the windshields until after they repair the delamination. The delamination repair is nowhere near as expensive as the windshields, but it could take six months or more to get an appointment at Foretravel's fiberglass shop to fix the delamination. You'll have to leave the coach with them for most of a week in order for the adhesive to cure properly. I have this exact problem currently and I wasn't able to find anyone other than Foretravel who would repair the fiberglass delamination... Hopefully this coach doesn't have any delamination and it won't matter, but be sure to check before you purchase it.

Very good points about ebay rating Jack. Thanks

Good points especially about potential issues causing the cracks, looks like both side are cracked.

This could be very well be an issue with this unit.
Thanks for all the input.
