What type of repair facility to repair broken tailpipe?

I discovered my tailpipe broke where it connects to a drum shaped piece (a muffler)behind the drivers side rear tire. What type of shop might make this repair. Looks like it had been welded once before.

Thanks.

A muffler shop or anyone that could get the coach off the ground high enough to get under it with a torch  or wire welder to reweld it.

Many people have replaced that barrel muffler with a turbo muffler. If the tailpipe is rusted off the rest of the muffler is probably on its last leg.  If you search for turbo muffler you will find many threads.  Good luck.

A muffler/exhaust shop that caters to OTR trucks.

Aeroturbine 4" Resonated Performance Diesel 4040XL
About the same sound, more power, lighter, cheaper and probably easier to install.

Don't even need to raise the coach up on a lift.  Any pro welder could repair a broken tailpipe laying on his back in the parking lot.  They are used to working on stuff above their heads - that's the normal position for exhaust work.

Replacing that barrel muffler sounds like a good idea. So far I've found a company that works on buses agree to take a look. I'll have to see if they'll agree to let me order the muffler.

Any straight-through turbo-type truck muffler will do in a pinch.  It is bound to be lighter and smaller than the OEM 50 gallon barrel.  Be sure the inlet and outlet pipes are (at a minimum) the same diameter as your exhaust pipe downstream of the turbo.

If you have the time to order one, another you might consider is the MagnaFlow 12771.  I replaced ours in our driveway.  No welding required - just clamps.  Reused the old tailpipe, but in your case that might not be a good idea.  Not a hard job - just very dirty.

What a shame that exhaust was hidden from view. Certainly gives inspiration for what I should do. Funny how one thing leads to another. Maybe I could temporarily adopt a son who welds. Mines still costing me money instead of saving.
