Need advice on bulb replacement

So I have a fluorescent tube out in the ceiling light in the front of the coach. Before I break something can someone tell me how the cover comes off.

Thanks
Keith

Looks like someone put screws in the trim, should of been held on with velcro. Try undoing the screws and gently pull down on the trim.

The fwd light is different than the other lights. Wood frame is screwed in and it must be removed first, light fixture is one piece, and its cover must be removed to get to bulbs. It is the only light in the coach set up like this.

You should not have to take off the wood trim.  It just goes around the light fixture but doesn't hold it in. The plasic cover fits into grooves on the sides of the fixture itself.  Use a flat thin pry bar or spatula or table knife to get it started loose on one corner.  Once it start it will just pop out.  The plastic part is pretty flexible but be gentle.

This is a picture of the fixture with the flourescent gut removed and LED strips in place.  The switch is two use two or four strips.

Roger, maybe they made the frame a little bigger in 01, but on my 99 the wood covered the sides of the light fixture, I guess I could have got the plastic cover off without removing it, but as I was doing it for the first time, like the poster,  I wanted to have a clear view of what I had to do. I don't always get it right away, so if I can see how it is put together, I have better luck. I think the frame only had 2 or 4 screws holding it up.

I had six like this in our 2001. Four screws holding up the wooden frame that is just a surround for the fixture. Either way the cover comes off pretty easily.

Looking at it that is what I thought but I know how plastic will get brittle with age and with my luck I thought I should ask first before I broke something

Treat it like a new motorcycle, take it home park it the driveway and give it a good hard kick so it falls over and gets its first ding, after that you can truely enjoy it, without stress.
