Actually, two gauges.

A mechanical gauge on the tank and an electronic reading on the Audit system.

that is odd....I agree with Brett but wonder if am missing something?  You have no readout on a gauge on the tank, a round meter affair near center of connections, and no gauge on your inside electronic monitor that shows fluid levels in gray, black water, fresh water?

Help if I send you photos?  If gauge removed from tank, I imagine Brett or other knows how you could get one installed.

Great (or is it small) minds think alike.  I found a picture of the tank with gauge on a coach at MOT and e-mailed it to Steve 20 minutes ago.

Thanks Brett, I am looking at the picture of the tanks and I dont a guage in the tank area unless it is on the top?

You in Nac?  Lunch tomorrow?

The place a bit north of FOT, that side of the road, near CC Smokehouse if very good to fill....BUT unless they have changed, watch the overhang of the roof, would last time there hit coach if pulled forward after filling.  Big sign warning of that, but....

I would think any local shop would have a gauge.  Since Brett mailed you photo of like ours, no need me to run out and take a photo.

I have not filled in over two years so kinda forget exactly where gauge is located but it surely not hidden!

If you intend to use that propane for a fire pit, I bet Brett and I know Roger Engdahl can direct you to whatever connections you need.  I just use a portable tank but many use the coach tank.  Might be good to get whatever you need, if anything, when you get the gauge?

Thanks Mike, I wont get there probably until after 1:00 and that will be at Hermans to get tires.

while there are mounting the tires I will go over to FOT and get things setup there and go someplace to get some keys made.  Then back to the coach and see if it is done yet.

Wife has to be back home Friday morning to teach a class so it will be a long day.  Like granddaddy told me "There is not rest for the wicked and your a bad bad boy"  "LOL"

Quick comment if I may.
  Don't know about others, but I've found out that the gauge (either on the tank or in the cab) is good for a reference only.  Depending on any tilt on the chassis you may read higher or lower than what is actually in the tank and the same while driving down the road.  I'm not totally convinced that those gauges are the most accurate when stationary and level either.  I've had times when I've filled on a half tank indicated and took anywhere from 11 to 20 gallons to fill.

Yes, the gauge shows level of liquid LP in the tank.  The tank is long transversely in the coach.  So, absolutely, leaning to left or right will have a significant affect on gauge reading.  Same for front wheel oil bath level readings, BTW.

Read both with coach level side to side.
