Light Under Sink Kick Panel

On my 97 U270 3602 WTBI there is a amber light under the kick panel below the sink, but where might the switch be?  I have tried everything on the walls, under cabinets and around the cockpit area.

The light fixture looks like a amber marker light.

Thanks

On our coach this light is turned on by the middle switch at the front entry door.  It also turns on a light at the bathroom sink kickplate and a light at the front step.

Thanks, when I get to the coach Thursday I will try that.  These look like good candidates for LED's

I replaced mine with the shortest length led strips and they give just the right amount of light.

I was thinking of Red LED's, I like to take my telescope out and the red would let me still see in the coach but not harm my night vision to bad.  Just as long as I dont get strange knocks on my door at night "LOL"

Not sure about the 270s but on my U320, the switch for those lights are on the underside of the aft bedroom cabinets where the clock is.

Sadly we don't have the clock or the switch on our 270.  Just the switch at the door.

Super8mm, have lights at the foot of stairs, below the kitchen sink at the floor and below the sink cabinet at the floor in the potty room. The bedroom switch is the only one that operates them. As I said, not sure if the U-270s have that switch.

RBark we have those and one of the switches at entry puts these on and only there.
I have changed all of the lights to LED strips making it give out more light and brighter. I also added them either side of the sliding stair cover so instead of that "dinky little light" we now have approx 48" of led's lighting the whole stairwell.

On my 96 U320, the isle light switch was the centre one near the door, and there was a light in the stairwell and two in the bathroom under the closet doors.
I replaced the the bulbs with 0.022 amp leds and added two lights in the living room, two in the kitchen, and am about to add two lights in the bedroom. I also added a latching relay (like for the water pump) and added switches at the bedroom door and over the bed.
These 8 bulbs light the entire coach sufficiently to safely walk around while using less then 1/5 amp. They can be left on all night when boon docking and switched off/on when in bed.

Thanks Richard, I will have to try it at night when I get it home  :)

One thing additional.  I have heard mention that the wiring for many of the 320 upgrades is on the loom of the 270 but are within the panels eg the overhead bins have runs underneath.  Haven't looked yet but would like to switch the dock lights from the bedroom etc.

I think on my 270 the wire runs are in the back wall of the cabinets, up against the top?

In the picture you can see the panel that pulls off on the side wall butting up to the ceiling.

From what I have seen on ours, there is only wire behind that Velcro'ed panel when there is a fixture on the outside of the coach (i.e; porch light, clearance light) on the other side of it and possibly one or two cabinets adjacent to those spots. For the most part, the wires run underneath the false bottom of the cabinet, though in places where you see one of those round or half round carpeted shapes on the ceiling that you can see in your picture, there is cable run that penetrates the roof (i.e; TV antenna, satellite dish, etc.).

Thanks Don, I do have under cabinet lights and wall lights on both sides and the kitchen is on the same side as the picture.  The other side is the under cabinet and wall lights and ice maker.
