1995 U-240 Head, panel and auxillary lights

Picked Clarabell up on New Braun Felds last week. Checked all the lights and they worked. Now nothing.  I am getting power to the dash switch.

Also where are the air tanks located which they recommend draining daily? Be nice if there were a manual that showed these things.

Please bear with me as  I seem to have more bugs that I have Bug Spray.

Also where can I ge a schematic of the AC syatem.

3.  Also where can I ge a schematic of the AC syatem.
1.  Lights - no clue.  Long distance electrical diagnosis is not my forte.

2.  Two air tanks up front behind the "bumper".  These are the "Front" and "Rear" tanks.  Look for drain valves on the bottom of the tanks or follow the 1/4" nylon air lines to the drain valves near one of the front wheel wells.  One air tank at rear of coach, near/above the rear axle.  This is the "Wet" tank.  Drain valve is usually just in front of driver side rear wheel well, at bottom edge of body work.

3.  Do you mean the 120V AC system?  Check in Forum Media library for electrical schematics...might have what you need.

Pulled a do diligence search.

The tail, blinkers, running, emergency and clearance lights all work.

I have power coming into the switch but there is still no headlights of dash lights.

Glad I have two hands cause if not all my hair would just be missing on one side of my head. I am puzzled about this.

Sorry you're not getting any help on the headlight problem.  If it was me, I'd replace the headlight switch.  Looking at old threads on the Forum, I gather the switches have a finite lifespan.  Pull the old switch out, take it to your local auto parts house, and they can match it up with a new one.  Probably not too expensive...

Replacing headlight switch.

Headlight switch removal.

Gage lights not working.

I am sure you checked, but just incase... I have read on the forum that the ignition switch on some coaches has to be on for the headlights to go on. On our coach, the headlights and the ignition switch have to be on for the aux lights (fog lights) to come on. That had me puzzled for awhile...

Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to the Autozone I go.

The dash lights are kaput for sure and replacing the switch may solve the other problem.

If the 1995 is similar to the 1993 and 1994 U240 (many small, individual bulbs), very unlikely that ALL the lights went out at the same time.  More likely either a loose ground or power not reaching them.

Take a look at the wiring diagram in your manual.

Might have better luck with a NAPA auto parts store than Autozone.  Is there a part number anywhere on the switch?  Pretty common part to fail, any close by rv dealer parts departments.  When your NAPA or Autozone employee asks what truck or car do you have, be prepared for them to have that "yikes" look on their face.

Haven't done this myself, but supposedly the parts stores have a catalog that has diagrams of all the possible headlight switch connecting plug configurations.  All they have to do is match the pin layout on the old switch with the proper diagram, and that gives them a part number.

Might sound easier than it actually is, depending on how "helpful" the counter clerk is.  I always try to get a Old Guy - they are more patient.
