Voltage Regulator Explained

Hey all,
I made a video showing our regulator replacement.  It is running now for a few hours and all seems okay so far.  The symptoms were that we were seeing 150 volts.  I found a loose terminal on the terminal strip and tightened it but it didn't fix it for long.

The main takeaway is that you have to follow the original wiring versus the wires going to the regulator.  Then previously tied wires are unbound in our case and fed to the regulator separately.  Once we got it running we had to turn the voltage pot maybe 1/8 turn clockwise to bring the voltage from 97 volts to 120.  Hope this helps someone.  The schematic powertech sends is the only thing that comes in the box beside the reg.  You could buy it from someone else and succeed but it was pretty reassuring to have jeff on the phone telling me it's good.
