Rear camera replacement for U270

I am needing to replace my rear camera on my 2003 U270.  Does anyone have a suggestion for a newer model camera with the same features as the old?  The existing built in monitor should probably be replaced or different monitor just for the camera would be OK.  How are the new wireless cameras?  I looked at the Garmin BC 30 but it seems that the features are limited.  Thank you for your help.

John I did a dual rear camera and a right side camera and a new color monitor from Tadi Brothers.  Running new cables is not too hard and probably a good thing in the long run.  RVCams is the other popular place.  Wireless cameras have worked for some and not so well for others.  I got a cheap China wireless camara, the connection was not stable.

I replaced mine, some minor soldering to change the connection to a rca plug on the back. Used a cable adapter on the front end. Wasn't to hard, and I'm not the best solderer. Got the stuff off eBay for about 50 bucks total. I'm happy so far. I removed my old monitor screen

John,
On my 2005 U270, I did 2 things:
1- first I bought a new wireless camera and monitor from Tadi Brothers. I has worked fine for me. There have been times when the monitor loses the signal if not used for few weeks and I have to go thru the "pairing"  process to restore the connectivity.
2- Second I bought the  monitor at link below  off of EBAY,and connected it to the RCA cables going into the original monitor on the coach. The picture was very good which told me the rear camera was fine. I mounted this monitor on the flat part of the dash. Hindsight says I should have done this first and I would not have bought the wireless. Nevertheless I still have both connected. This monitor had been reccomended by someone on this forum.
3- Its amazing how much you can improve the picture by cleaning the lens on the camera periodically.

Keith why did you keep the little black box from the old monitor?

It was inline on the power source to the old monitor. I used the power line from the old monitor for the new one. There is a capacitor or resistor in it if I remember right.

Update::: the cheap Chinese camera on the back crapped out coming home from Colorado so I'll be looking for a little better quality one to replace it with

I looked at both Tadi and RVCams, both were way to expensive. Seriously expensive.  Found this on Amazon, and took the plunge and looks great so far.
$106 USD delivered. I ran the new wire, since the old was 20 years old, and that was easy. The hardest part was mounting the camera, but did that finally with some self taping screws and some help from my son. Initially the image was poor, and I thought what a piece of junk. Emailed the owner and had a response back that day! He had some tips, but I just needed to clean the lens!
Sony CCD, 7" screen, will accept 2 cams. I put in 1 now, the other later for the hitch and toad. Seriously if you want to pay 500 or more  at those other guys go ahead. This was pretty sweet deal. And looks great too.  The pic shows the image before I figured out to clean the lens, and the red stuff is a screen protector that I had not taken off yet.

Bob,

After three months with this back-up camera/monitor system are you still pleased with it?  Do you have any suggestions to add?

Thanks,
Richard

What did you mount this with.  Sounds like a real good deal.  The 86 FEG Grand Villa's did not come with a back up camera... because there is a REAR bedroom window... they came stock with a REAR VIEW mirror mounted on the windshield... LOL...

But i need to run the cable and mount a camera...
