Xantrex Freedom Xc Inverter/Charger

Does anyone have any experience with the  Xantrex Freedom Xc Inverter/Chargers?  My 91 U280 still has the OEM modified sine wave inverter and ferroresonant charger/converter.  Upgrading to the 2000 Watt Xantrex looks like a slick solution, especially since it includes a 3 stage 80 Amp charger/converter.  The going price seems to be about $775.  I was leaning toward a separate inverter and charger, but the integration on this actually looks like a plus.  I especially like that you can program the charger voltages with your own settings.  Any opinions?

I would look at what your charge requirement is.  I've had three SW units, and never a problem with one.  After I had a SW3012 in my last rv (150 amp) I chose the SW2012 (100 amp) 6 months ago because it met my needs and 100 amp charging is fine for my needs.  If 80 amp is adequate for you, this 2000 watt XC looks like a terrific unit.  Also price the remote panel as most require it.
