How to rehang bedroom mirror?

The decorative mirror trim around the large mirror has fallen off, it was just glued onto the mirror. Any suggestions as to which adhesive we should use to rehang the trim ( which is itself mirror and there fore not light)?

Home Depot has a special adhesive for glass that I got in a caulk style tube. Very thick. Sticks quickly. Don't let it squeeze out all over the place.  We used it to add trim to the mirror on the China cabinet.
