Coach air connector in propane compartment

Coach air connector coupler in propane compartment will suddenly not lock onto air hose.  Strange for the sudden failure.  It started to rain immediately after the failed attmpt, so no further examination. Did try a shot of silicone lube into it, still no success.

Used to easily hook up air hose to top up coach tires.  Now for the first time cannot latch onto air hose end.  Same air hose as prior.

Looks like this may be the correct one....

3/8"  WYNNsky Industrial Air Coupler, 1/4 Inch Body Size, 3/8 Inch NPT Male...

1/4"  WYNNsky Industrial Air Coupler, 1/4 Inch Body Size, 1/4 Inch NPT Male...

Looks like I will have to remove to check size?

Yep style M male fitting. They are available at any auto parts or home improvement stores and I believe Walmart.

Pay attention to the type. They make 3 different ones that look the same on the outside

I just rebuilt mine yesterday and had trouble connecting too. I pushed the air hose connection in as hard as I could and pulled the collar just as hard until it locked in.
In my case, the air hose connection is connected to a 45-degree fitting, then a quarter-turn valve and then another quick-connect fitting. It allows me to leave it connected all the time.
