Electric trailer brakes

What are you using for power and brake actuation?
I have a small two car open trailer  that I need to tap into the brake trigger and power source someplace.  Whats the easy button? TIA,MM

I bought the following (yet to install) and so I will not need a separate brake controller in either vehicle when towing my 16' 2 axle utility trailer with electric brakes, just this wireless brake controller hard wired into the trailer.  It gets it's brake signal from the tow vehicles brake light wire and the 12V power from the seven plug connector of the tow vehicle.  I will tow this with either my GX470 toad or my Foretravel.  Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles -...

In the future you will be able to tow your trailer with any vehicle with a proper 7 plug connection, no need for separate brake controller.

Trailer mounted controller.  Interesting. I have a winch and battery already.  I could do that. Thanks, MM

On my 92 gv, they already ran the spare wires. I want to say there are 7 of them. My  "spare wires" were right under the air drier. The opposite ends are right above the computer plug in. I used that to get to the rear of the coach. I then scotch locked into the brake light switch. When yo hit the brakes you can here that relay click. I know a scotch lock isn't really right, Ill use it until I get ambitious enough to hard wire it.
