Link 2000 Battery Selection - 1 or 2 or Both

I just installed 3 new house batteries on my U320 and have studied my Link 2000 manual for set-up.  I've searched the forum for information on what the difference in the selection of "Battery 1 and 2" on the Link 2000 is and could not find any information.

Are all three of my house batteries linked thru a common shunt and both battery 1 and 2 are the same thing?  Or does the selection of 1 or 2 matter for the overall setup of the system?

Any clarification would be appreciated.

You can go to their site and look at the installation instructions, not sure if that will help .

Contact the manufacture to confirm but I think they are saying battery (bank) 1 and battery (bank) 2.
I think because your three batteries are connected to together they  would be treated as one battery (bank) for setting up the charge settings.
I think the Link 1000 is for one battery bank.

My link 2000 reads bank 1and 2 the same. You can monitor 2 banks if you have a second bank hooked up to the link,  then you can choose which one to look at. However as far as changing goes you only have one charger. I did all my set up on bank 1 it doesn't matter how many batteries in the bank.

Your Link 2000 has the capability of monitoring two separate battery banks.  You only have one bank with 3 batteries linked together as designed.
