Air brake hose for fuel line

At some point it appears the fuel line to the engine has been replaced on our coach, it is marked "air brake" hose or line. The old line is still there and its tie wrapped to the new(er) line at the tank and engine compartment.
Question?....... did Foretravel use air brake line for fuel lines as OEM?
I am debating on replacing the engine supply line with "Gates Barricade" fuel line with brass flare fittings.

I would call the hose manufacturer with their PN and ask them if it is diesel compatible.

Our speculation is probably of little value, particularly if we don't know the product.

A good idea but I will probably replace it with the gates hose anyway, just was curious to know if FT actually used a hose labeled as  "air brake" for fuel lines on older coaches like ours?
