New power cord

I'm tired of dealing with the current 50A power cord that is so stiff I can hardly get it into the bay when the temperature is under 80. I found this one:

Amazon.com : Conntek 15455-LA4 RV 50 Amp Detachable Power Supply Cord, 42...

that comes in various lengths. Has anyone purchased this one? If so, what's your opinion?

On edit: found this one, too:

Amazon.com: Camco 25 Foot Extension Cord - 50 Amp Standard Male to 50 Amp 90...

The Camco one is a LOT cheaper than the Conntek. Yes, it is a bit shorter, but I could then buy an extension cord for the few times that I need more than the 25 feet.

Am I missing something?

If under 80 f., and don't need 2 ac's. generally leave the 50 amp cord coiled up in coach, and just plug it in, [with adapter] to a 30 amp cord. Much easier to handle.

I bought this one:

Surge Guard 50A30MOSE Super Flex 50 Amp 30' Replacement Cord

It does require that you install the old plug to the coach (or put on a new one) but is super flexible and much easier to handle than the old yellow ones when they get old and stiff.

How about using this purchase to make a major safety upgrade to SmartPlug.
Cordsets - SmartPlug We consider our installation to SmartPlug to be one of the most important safety improvements.  We no longer have to deal with our Hubbell-type twist-plug slightly loosening  over time, causing potential overheating, melting, burning issues.
Very straight forward conversion.

The cheap one says it's 10/3. The other one is 6/3 +8/1 which is what you need for true 50A. Flexibility is determined by how fine the strands of copper are in the cable. Fine stranded cable is more expensive than coarse stranded. It also conducts electricity more efficiently because the electrons travel only on the outside surface of wire.
