Change of battery Type

I recently replaced my Gel-Tech 6vdc batteries with Trojan T-105s. Does this mean I need to change my Xantrex Freedom Combi Charge/Inverter from "Gel" to "Wet Cell" and if so, should this be done at the Inverter control panel, or in tge Xantrex remote control panel in the house? The generic Xantex manual left me uncertain about this.

Depending on age of inverter/charger, you may be able to reprogram it from the remote.

Early Xantrex units had dip switches on the unit itself.  "Mid series" models had dip switches on the back of the remote panel.  The newer ones were easily programmed from the front of the remote panel itself.

You should be able to get the manual and perhaps a person to answer that question. Have a look....
