I replace the backup cam and monitor in my '98 U295. First I mounted the new monitor.  Plugged in to the old cam's existing RCA plugs. The old cam  worked with new color 7" monitor.  Picture was Black and white though.  The OEM cam is bolted into the vent. I mounted a new cam on to the old monitor by drilling through the old cam. Mounted new cam with hex headed metal screws. All existing rca plugs an 12 v ac hook right up for a great color picture. You will probably have to adjust Left Right view from the monitor menu.

Ordered This from Amazon at $116 usd its unbeatable in price. Able to take 2 cam inputs. Sony CCD 1/3" with 7" screen. Not sure if it will connect well with the existing wire. Should be here Friday. My passenger side view is with a sony head unit and will be always on while driving. The 2nd cam will be later for the toad hookup.
