Inflation pressure info for many RV tires from Manufacturers.

Found this on the RVsafety, com website:

Very useful.

It's only usefull if you know what the weight on all four corners is. We had ours weighed just after we bought it and found the fresh Michelins were 10/15 lbs LESS than they should have been! A good pressure gauge is important: this one hooks to our aux compressor, but I use it to measure psi every time we prepare to go out.

Add a TPMS to your Xmas list.  Much better-- as you can tell PSI before you leave and every minute of your drive.

Checking in the morning is great, but won't tell you of a dangerously low tire because of a nail you ran over an hour later.

Plus a tpms system allows you to check tire pressures without letting a tiny amount of air out each time. Pressure Pro allows you to check without needing to drive first to wake up the sensors.

My guru buddy installs the bendix commercial truckers only units.  $2k plus dismounting the tires.  Pressure and temps both sent. Mounts on rim inside the tire.

They do not sell for rv's.  He orders it through the local Cummins shop like its for a truck.

Freightliner installs these as a factory option

Monitors rim temp which catches brake and other issues

I am sure it is me or my computer but that link does not add up to a $136 system. Could you please explain the system to me. Thanks

Is it overkill to want to monitor towed vehicle's  tires also? That makes 10 tires to monitor.

If so, which product will monitor 10 tires from one monitor?

No, not overkill.  Most of the TPS systems can display 10 (or more) sensors.  We use the EEZTire system to monitor our 6 coach tires + 2 tow dolly tires + the two rear tires on our tow car.  Works great, large easy-to-see monitor, shows the pressures as soon as you turn it on (IE you don't have to start moving to "activate" the sensors).  See thread linked below for more discussion:

Our PressurePro handles all 10 tires, and yes, I agree it is critical.  A blow out on a toad tires is a lot less likely to give you notice in the driver's seat 40+ feet forward.

True dat! There was a incident up north where they blew a tire on the toad and set off a huge forest fire with the sparks. The driver did not take notice  of all the people pointing to his stern and telling him to pull over, he just waved and continued on!

We bought a tpms system when we got the toad.  Heard too many horror stories about
having a flat on the toad and not realizing it. We bought the EEZ tire system. It has a great
display and can handle the coach and toad.

I did some testing with this system and a couple of other brands at a rally were we
simulated a slow leak and then a complete loss of pressure in order to check the response
times of the various systems.  All performed about the same and would give the driver
a notice in a few seconds of a large loss of pressure and also when the minimum pressure
threshold was reached.

The other great point about these systems is that the report temperatur as well as pressure.
So, if you have a heat build up on that tire due to brake dragging or wheel bearing  or low
pressure, the alarm goes off.

The temp sensors are fairly accurate. Driving down the freeway, the tires on the shaded side
of the coach report about 10-15 degrees less than those in the sun.

Now that I have one, I would not operate the coach without one.
