Repair to Manabloc water line

While having the water heater replaced, I discovered a water leak just above the Manaboc cold water feed to the water heater. The transition to pex consists of four or five pieces of CPVC glued together. There are four of these assembles coming off the Manbloc. It appeared that the leak was between three glued pieces. The local pumping supply houses did not carry the first transition piece.
FOT parts confirmed that the existing CPVC transition piece was no longer available. The replacement brass part is P25134 which goes direct to pex. Using that part, I made my first ever pex repair. And it was successful!  I am using the OEM assembly as a spare because I was able to add CPVC glue between two pieces to seal the leak. I have also assembled a second spare which is a little taller than the OEM assembly.

Did you have to get the P25134 fitting from Foretravel? I haven't been able to find a source for that part number using the usual methods...

I had these CPVC pieces under my kitchen faucet with resulted in a leak that flooded my carpet and spaces under the kitchen cabinets.  I found them to be the weak link in the system and replaced them with PEX which is pretty simple.  PEX allows us to use street pressure in our coaches, so adding these "transition" pieces defeated the purpose.

P25134 came from FOT for $5.62. They also supplied a crimp ring for another $0.32.

plumbingmall.com has a Viega Manabloc Supply Adapter 3/4" MPT,  SKU VANMSA45 @ $10.29 It is all brass and is a little longer than the FOT solution.  It is in the right of my AFTER picture with the note "spare not tested" It required more CPVC.
