Dan, is it the small green light while travelling?  When you level the coach it will go out.

Roger: Never saw this before.  Called MOT and they never had a coach with a.light inside coach drawing on key pad. Called hwh and they are 6 weeks to return phone calls.

Can you post a photo of the light you are referring to? (with surrounding area).

The 2002 key pad is a bit different from mine.  The 2002 had a unique slide system but the controls might be the same as an 03.  There is no light in the coadk outline on my keypad.  I wonder if it might be some light leak from an adjacent light.  Is there actually a hole in the middle that might have a bulb behind it?

Hi Dad,
As you know, I have a 2003 coach & HWH slide & leveling system. I sure don't recall a light on the pad going out at night. The travel light stays on while the coach is in motion until I level it. But at night, only the travel light stays on  within the pad while in operation never going out. Try putting the headlights on during the day and see if there is anything affecting the light that goes out at night.  Good Luck. Lou
