Wind Noise

I am getting a lot of wind noise from someplace in the upper left corner.  Yesterday it was very noisy but once in a while it would go away and coach was nice and quiet at 65mph but then it would come right back.

Where might this be coming from as if wind is getting in I figure water will too???

Look at your windshield gasket on the left, especially ihe corners.

Make sure your sliding window next to driver is fully closed and seated.  Ours can make a LOT of noise (depending on wind direction) unless I get it perfectly positioned, which is why I try to avoid opening it.

Thanks Chuck, I did have it open for a bit then I closed and locked it at my first stop to check the jeep.  I will check the seal on it.

the noise sounded like it was coming from above the window but with hearing aids you just never know for sure "LOL"

well I thought about it but I was running out of room with all my Scottish stuff loaded.

I am still looking at rearanging things and I see I can use 2 more totes like I have to store stuff under the couch  ;)

Steve,

Get a roll of blue painter's tape and use it to tape up possible leaks.  Move from area to area until identified.

I was getting a lot of wind noise from the ZipDee support arm & awning tube over the drivers side window.  I made a wind deflector that helped reduce the noise but doesn't eliminate it.  Now that the drivers side is quieter, I notice the passenger side more.

I get the same thing on windy days when the wind is broadside

that is what I had, I was going north and had a 30 gust to 35 or better. When I got to the campsite I took the jeep and went to town and it was even worse on it but I had to get a new shore cable and coach side plug so I couldnt wait for the wind to die down.

We carry an 8-foot aluminum ladder that fits on left side of Joey-Bed, that just fits between the curb & street side bay doors. Ladder is on its side with top ramped up to street-side to keep the bottom legs parallel to curb-side door. Aluminum is smaller than fiberglass. Not a fan of collapsible ladders, which have been known to cause injuries.
