mystery wire

In buttoning up the fuel hose job, in the bay with the twin joey beds, I found I wire not connected, just hanging there, and couldn't find what it had been plugged into. This is on top, nestled in with fuel hoses, air and water lines and wires. Seems the mice have also been in there and made a bit of mischief too. Chewed threw some wire loom and into the wire a bit but not thru it.
Any way, if anyone has any idea of what this wire is, please send me your thoughts.

HMmmm...no answers to your question.  I don't have even a guess.  Kinda unusual triangle shaped connector.  Can you find a label with a ID number on the wire?  Might look at your 12V electrical schematic - see if you see anything to which it could have connected?

Wow.
That's one strange plug/ outlet!
Assume nothing even close to what it looks like in the area where it plugs in?

Look around for old mounting holes that belonged to some piece of previous owner removed equipment such as a freezer?

Would appear to be the one half of a Deutsch connector. These are waterproof connectors found on things like engine wiring harnesses. Have no clue what it might have been connected to but I would agree with Chuck that you should start with your coach's wiring scematic.

Unfortunately don't have the papers that came with the coach, someone walked off with them several owners ago.
Nothing near there that I can tell. Its not aftermarket either. It comes from the drivers side of the coach into the bundle of wires that follow the air, water and fuel lines and was  heading towards the  front of the coach. There is nothing near it in the bundle of wires that  looked like it plugged into. It might have gone aft towards the wetbay, but doubt it. Guess I will find out soon enough when something that should work, doesn't, but that is not how I would want to find out. Going to Nacogdoches for the ladies drivers class in November, will ask there.

We went to Ladies Driving School in 2014.  At one of the tech meetings given by James Triana for the spouses, we all received nice 11x17 inch copies of the 12V wiring diagram, and the "Automotive Wiring" diagram for our particular coach.  Together, they cover almost the entire 12 volt system, and are very handy for trouble shooting and general maintenance.  I don't know if they still give these out, but if not you could always ask James T. about the possibility of getting a set.

How many wires are in it?  If 3 , it is a common sensor style of connector . One wire might be 5 volts, one ground and the last signal.

Bob,
Take a thumb drive with you and see Jeremy Rocha in Service while at FOT.  I believe they can download the prints for your build number.  I believe the cost is $50.00  That's a bargain in my opinion. 
Pretty sure you wont do that with a Fleetwood at any cost.

Just buy an inexpensive signal injector from Amazon/HF/ebay/Home Depot. It will find the other end easily from about 3 inches away. Found my extra wires running from the engine compartment to the dash that way. Check examples at this Amazon page: Cable Tracker, EIVOTOR Professional RJ45 RJ11 Wire Tracker Line Finder Cable...

The connector looks an awful lot like the one I had on another MH with an electronic throttle.  That rig, however, had a CAT engine and I have no clue if it the throttle was more universal. Alternatively, it might belong to a similar electronic cruise control system.
