ORED generator

ORED generator seems in need of assistance, at one time I thought it may well have been intentionally installed by off kelter for oil flow. Tonight is the first be time I started it up from it up from the Genny bay, and a huge spark jump from the forward port side .

Looks identical to mine.
A suggestion: I use that area above the muffler for storage for three 25" coiled heavy duty extension cords.  Works great, doesn't get hot enough to do any damage due to the insulation between the cords and the muffler

Propane?

Mine did that too.. took boxes apart, switch, breaker.. tightened-it needed it...no more arking ^.^d

Check for a good 12 volt ground as I believe the ground for the 12 volt is the frame mounting
