Sound System Alternative

As we've spent more time in the coach we've found situations where enjoying sound can be a problem e.g., while one of is sleeping and the other wants to watch a movie...turning the volume up on a movie with the windows open and neighbors nearby...enjoying a football game outside in the evening.

The solution for us was a Bluetooth transmitter that gets power from the TV USB outlet and high quality sound via Optical connection.

Amazon.com: 2018 Avantree Audikast aptX Low Latency Bluetooth 4.2 Audio...

We paired the transmitter with two of these  headphones, both of which work simultaneously or independently.

Amazon.com: Avantree 40 hr Wireless Bluetooth 4.1 Over-the-Ear Foldable...

The other feature of the headphones is their ability to pair with our phones both for listening to music, Netflix or with built in microphone to talk on the phone.  Each headset can also be paired with 2 phones so either of us can answer either of our phones.

Not cheap but it works great.

I have 3 - $5 off coupons with the products we bought I'm happy to share.

Yes, actually headphones are comfortable and have a pretty smooth sound profile with decent bass.

Does each user have independent volume control?

Yes.  Each user has separate volume and tone control. Each headset can be independently paired with phones or iPads. So far no limitations and pretty darn good sound.
