Re: Service in Nac Reply #25 – October 19, 2018, 10:51:04 am Quote from: John44 – October 19, 2018, 10:13:01 amThink the key word there was "fire truck",When a city or town takes in a fire truck the shops start salavating dollar signs. I had the same problem with a shop that was known to repair/service F.D. rigs. Figured they would know their stuff: WRONG! I spent a lot of money for basically them replacing parts that did not need replacing! Quote Selected
Re: Service in Nac Reply #26 – October 19, 2018, 11:44:32 am John offering your service is a outstanding show of your character. Thank you for the generous offer and your expertise. I would not utilize your offer but would appreciate your sharing of knowledge. I am humbled by the generosity of the forum members. The trouble with ignorance is one is unable to realize how venerable you really are until you are tested. I am at the age where I want to do the job, have the expertise but lack the body and will to do it. I look at the useful life having a time limit. Quote Selected 3 Likes

I have my coach at one of the popular shops it's been there since Monday still don't have a hard estimate for the work discussed. We'll see what happens todayHey Bruce....what type of work?? I like to know where to take the yacht when she needs attention. Quote Selected

Re: Service in Nac Reply #30 – October 19, 2018, 01:05:23 pm My son will learn how to put shocks on the coach this weekend, the 8 FSD's came last night. Within a year he will be able to service AH, Gen. and engine. I will have him come over for any other repairs I do in the future. I don't know when the physical limits will hit me but I see from the posts it is inevitable. Quote Selected 4 Likes

Re: Service in Nac Reply #37 – October 23, 2018, 03:35:32 pm Very knowledgeable and always looking for problems. Many problems are like cavities, its best to fix em when they're small. Also he doesn't mind rebuilding rather than replacing when it makes sense; i.e. radiator fans. Has also answered questions for us while on the road which has saved us time and $. Quote Selected
