Can this run diagnostics for the Allison mt648?
Snap-On now is the owner of all the Pro-Link products. When I called them, they were not that helpful and wanted to sell the current diagnostic tool rather than supporting the legacy hardware.

You might check on ebay to see what is available. I have seen the Allison cartridges but they have been pricy. The same for CAT, Mack, etc.

Pretty much what we saw on David's.  The engine files have data that show the relationship between RPM vs HP and Torque.  From engine load and rpm Torque and HP are derived values.  There is no direct measurement.
Roger, when you finished with David's set up were you able to get Total Engine Miles and Hours from Day one (1)?  On my unit it appears to be incorrect as I know my coach should have around 74000 miles on it and 1743.7 engine hours. That information is taken from the hour meter at the rear engine/remote start panel.  I up graded my Silverleaf software to 4.080 from the 3.0b01 when I started using Asus computer, prior to that on my old computer I was getting what I thought was the actual coach miles and hours.  ::)

I'm using a VMSpc (thanks Roger!) on my MacBook running Windows XP through Vmware.  Works ok, I do get an occasional hiccup but it's probably more a win vs Mac issue.  It's easier than having another laptop to maintain.
Wouldn't run the coach without VMSpc, this after 2 Newells with it.

David used his own PC, I helped him get it going but he has very little time on it.  So I don't have a good answer.  There is a place under the Advance Menu for engine corrections where you can add in an offset and/or % multiplier to adjust the reading.

VMSpc version 4.1 is coming soon.  There were some buggy things in the 4.x versions that I hope they have fixed.  There are some engines that work better with the older versions.  When this is a potential issue I will install both and see which one works better.

The total miles on the laptop is not in agreement with what the odometer shows (too low) or with miles since rebuild (too high). I'll play with it more in a couple of weeks as we move to TX.
