ORED windshield gasket

Noticed tonight my passenger side gasket had a bow to the rear, and the trailing edge of the windshield glass was exposed at the top. Some evidence of slight leakage but no damage or signs of front cap movement. Used a plastic Bondo spatula to get the stiff old gasket popped back out in place. Will need to do the same on the inside of the gasket. Not sure if a windshield shop will touch a 29 year old windshield with A ten foot pole. Even if I got a new gasket from FOT. Or get a new gasket while I still can?

Tonight with the help from 2 old plastic ID cards which are much thinner than the Bondo spatula, or credit cards I coaxed the old gasket back into a straighter line with a small pry bar, on both the inside and outside. Now the gasket has a 3/16 overlap on the glass.  I will keep these ID cards in the glovebox just in case.

Phred I di the same thing using 2 good sam membership cards when Mine di that in Daytona. My glass shop here in NC that I use charges 375.00 per side to reseat the glass.He said these are pretty easy to do because of the rubber. But recommended both sides be removed and reseated to get it right
