UniHome/Coach Koni Gold FSD Shock Sale

I read many articles here, and see that it may be time to Spring for new Shocks, to see if would help my Handling issues?  The Koni  Gold FSD's.  Anyway, the last price listing was $160.00 each, that was posted, which I did a search, and came up with these @ $144.73 each!  So, if all 8 are replaced, it is like getting one shock for free, with free shipping! So ends up at $203.00 cheaper, total!  Notice also, the Tag axle, requires a Different Part Number!  Some seem think they may be the same, from what I have read? Koni 8805-1010  is for the Non-Tag axles!

Well worth it, in my opinion, especially if you can do the installation on your own.  8805-1010 was the correct number for our coach (all positions).

I hope to be able to Install myself?  Also, a While back John Morales, mentioned to me in an Email, about the Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer.  I found the same company had that cheaper than anyone else, also! I might do that AFTER the Shocks, to see if that helps dial it in even more? It also is a Safety Feature for a Front Tire Blowout, if that were to occur? The Mounting Kit is cheaper here, and even Cheaper for the Black Friday sale, with a 5% Discount, it looks like?

We have a Safe T Plus on our coach, thanks to a early owner (we are owners #5).  The owners before us (John & Genni from the Forum) replaced the blue "shock absorber" with a fresh one just before we took possession.  Never drove without it, so can't comment on effectiveness, but our coach since day one (with us) has tracked straight like a arrow down the road, steers with 2 fingers on the wheel, and doesn't get blown around too bad by passing semis.

We've got the FSD  shocks, perfect! I know Brett did some welding  and reinforcement at the rear upper shock mounts. Maybe he remembers.  ^.^d  We also have the 'Roadmaster ' front and rear anti-sway bars. I've never driven a coach that tracks as well as this dear does.  ^.^d

add-on: given strange road conditions, it's hard to tell if it's the coach or the road. Where I've tested all three of my coaches is on Arizona I-8 from Gila Bend to Casa Grande; prolly the smoothest road in the country!

FSD's are not available for the U225 and U240.

The FSD's on Mike's coach are totally custom-- worked with an engineer at Koni on them and did test drives with him as we revalved/fine tuned them.

Only the adjustables are available from Koni for the U225 and U240.
