HWH kickdown jacks question.

I want to 'tweak' the front end up a little bit, but the manual is vague on how to do it with the manual settings. I'm fine side to side, so do I just fire it up and hit the 'raise front' button a little bit until the auto level shows correct and then just shut the system down? I DON"T want the front wheels off the ground!

Ignition on (no need to start engine).

Turn on HWH panel

Push the "front up" arrow (top right arrow) to raise front.

If you want to calibrate the level sensor so this is your "new level", leave the HWH panel illuminated and adjust the sensor (under back end of sofa) until all the lights are out.

Mike, I have to ask. Is this front to rear off level all the time, or a one time desire?
I actually adjusted the level sensor so our coach would level to the point where our bathroom door stays where I open it to.
I have attached the HWH leveling sensor adjustment instructions in the event you want to do a permanent adjustment.
By the way, it sure is nice when the coach responds to my settings now. No more f**ting around by little adjustments.
Also, because I wear bifocals I found that the HWH controls, mounted on an angle, down low on the driver's left, was a real pain to read unless I was on my knees, looking over the seat with a flashlite. So I made a new enclosure that raised the HWH level parallel to the floor and a bit higher. The enclosure is necessary because the diesel fill pipe is inside the enclosure. Now I can just sit in the seat and do any adjustments necessary.

No, it usually levels us just fine, and I DO use the 'bathroom door method' also. I'm just at a bad site where I need a slight lift on the front end. Thanks for the instructions!  ^.^d

Mike there really is no problem with the front wheels off the ground. If the rear wheels are on the ground your parking brake will hold you steady.

Go easy with lifting the front tires off the ground, you are lifting the axle by the shocks and that could be bad.

The shocks are what holds the wheel up. They are plenty strong
