Under sink

I would post a picture, but don't have coach where I can get one. But would like to know if anyone has done an under the sink mod? In the kitchen of our 2012 Nimbus, I have no space under the sink. There is a tiny shelf, and a possible 5 inch indentation. Nothing really fits under there. We opened it up once, checking for a water leak and there appears to be a lot of unused space. The sink area is on a slide, so there is also a bunch of cables and wires that have to be taken into consideration. I wonder if you could put a cleat at the correct height on the opposing cabinet walls to miss the cables and wires to create a false bottom to open this space up to being able to except a few things? Just curious?

Good to shut the shore water off and fire the inside pump every once in a while. Who knows how long THIS was leaking! With all the stuff we cram into the storage under the kitchen and bath and behind the drawers, most would never notice it, until too late!

We ALWAYS operate off the on-board tank/water pump.

That is the only way to insure that tank water does not get stale.

Have done that on every motorhome and boat.

And, like you say, you will now right away if there is a leak, as the pump cycles with no demand.

Little off subject but regarding shore water if you get a hose burst or disconnect you will come back to a flooded motor home.  Saw a boat that it happened to.  It was sitting on the bottom in 3.5' of water with the water in it all the way to the gunnels.  It was a brand new boat that had been put in the water and moored by the dealer.  Owner never had chance to use it.  If on shore water turn off at supply spigot when leaving.  Better to use tank water both for the vehicle's system as well as yours.
