Gaggenau cook top problems.. Video added

I'm having an issue with our Gaggenua cook top. First let me say my propane tank is half full. The back burner will come on and burn but will blow out and will immediately relight if I push the igniter. Anybody have any suggestions?
Well I tried to download a video of what it's doing but it is in the wrong format.....

If you are getting a smaller flame before it goes out then maybe it's the regulator

Check to be sure the round black cast iron "puck" or whatever its called is sitting in the correct position in the center of the burner.  One of ours got bounced out of place one time and the burner would not work until it was repositioned.

Is the gas control electric or just a mechanical valve.  It looks like the gas gets turned off when it go out, like an electric shutoff valve

Neither of those flame patterns look correct.  Something is not right with both burners.  I still say verify the black disk is in the proper position.

Check the wires on the CO monitor to make sure they are tight. Some units have these monitors tied into the stove and won't work properly if the wires are loose. Just a thought.

In the video neither burner has a continuous flame around it, like maybe some holes are clogged.  Maybe the rear thermocouple is located in the flame void. Just a WAG  but I agree with Chuck.

I just went out and messed with our cooktop.  I was able to reproduce your symptoms almost exactly by simply nudging the black cast iron disc out of position while the burner was on.  The are 4 vertical pins that the black disc sits on.  It must sit down squarely on all 4 pins in a "centered" position.  It can easily be bumped out of place when cleaning the cooktop, or by driving on really rough roads.

Photos show the correct flame pattern, and in the last image the pattern with disc slightly out of position.

Similarly check the brass burner pieces as well, if they are not attached to the assembly (they likely float as well).

Have seen this on home gas rangetops when the burner assembly wasn't sitting "perfect".

After looking at Chucks pictures and then going back to the video you can see the flame is not even all the way around the black disk.

Yes the front flame is off and I thought about the black disk, but thought about it after I had it on and needed to go before it had time to cool. Didn't think the black top would make the back burner pop and go out like that. I will go by after work(sorry to use that word) one day this weekend and try those things. Thanks for the suggestion y'all!!!
 Ps.  Nice looking flames Chuck!!!!

It can, and will, if improperly positioned.  I made my big burner do exactly the same thing by moving the disc.  Which, by the way, I found out is called a "burner cap".  The piece it sits on is called the "burner base".  Both are easily removable.

It looks to me like if those two parts got rusty or dirty, you could clean them up with a soft wire brush.  Gently, of course, so as not to damage the cast-in profile.

I went by the coach last nite and checked the burner caps and they had rattled out of position. With them on correctly they work perfectly. Thanks everyone for the ideas especially Chuck for experimenting on his coach and the addition on the pics. Even though this forum costs me a lot of money it saves me a lot of money to. Love this forum!!!
