couch storage drawer

Having a problem with the drawer in the couch coming out on rough roads and in a left turn. Did a search and it looks like I am the only one with the problem.
 Fixed it today the button latch was barely touching the upper frame and the upholstery was all that kept it closed. Made a flat metal plate and drilled and installed it in the frame. I was surprised that the frame was steel but that made the repair much more sturdy.

Good idea. The wood couch frame must have warped.

It's made out of steel. Must have been missed by QC.

I've had two with the same issue. Adjusted one and used your fix on this one.
