If you do not get an easier source for your part, I would try to contact:
http://www.nwrvsupply.com/

Since only about 30% of their inventory is on line, you might ask them if they have what you are looking for.  If not they are also good at finding older parts.  Your picture should help along with what year rv.

We have the same "stick" in our 1989 GV. It broke off when trying to lift up to actuate the high beam on the headlights. I put it back together using JB Weld--about five years ago. The cruise still didn't work. I laid on my back under the dash and took a good look at the electric cruise control box. What I found was one really lousy bunch of connectors used to put in a replacement control (see picture attached) that only had intermittent contact. I removed all the connectors and soldered the wires. Cruise has worked perfectly ever since. The white connector is a piece of junk!!
Another Foretravel owner (triple nickle) on this website had a cruise control on his '89 that didn't work. Same problem. After soldering the connections he now has a functioning cruise control.
It is a very simple job to do as long as study the wires and colors and then do one connection at a time. Oh, there is, I believe, one extra black wire that ends up with another black wire when you do the repair.
Watch how low you set the telescoping steering wheel!! Too low and when you lift the lever to change high beams to low and you won't be able to do so. Too much pressure and you end up with a bunch of plastic in your hand.

We have that exact same switch on our coach.  Like nitehawk's, ours cracked at the base where the roll pin is inserted.  I was able to repair it with JB Weld (great minds think alike) and it is still intact.  Fortunately, the electric bits on ours has always worked fine.

No idea where you will find a replacement.  Don't even know what was the original source of the unit.  I suspect you will end up using some aftermarket switch.  May be tricky getting the wires properly connected, but should not be rocket science.

Good Luck!  If you DO happen to find a exact original replacement switch, please let us know where!

You might try contacting Mr B 3 (Brian). He is another Australian with a Grand Villa. Might have some parts chasing information to share. I know he had his converted to right hand drive a few years back. Click on the search button on the upper right, change the search to "members" and search for mr b and you can send him a Personal Message. Good luck and I hope you can share stories and photos of your progress.
