The F02 menu's third selection is AGM.

Your inverter is serialed numbered past 100,000 and has the ability to have a necessary battery temp management system plugged into it to alter the charging profile to the correct one for the temps the batteries are.

Simple install.  Battery charging  voltage could vary from 13.0 to over 14.

At 77 degrees the default 13.6 is correct.  No other temp.  At hot weather the default overcharges.  At cold temps it undercharging.

Both lifeline and mk gels and others require a BTMS so as to not damage their batteries.

My 97's freedom 25 was before 100,000 serial number and could not have their BTMS added.

Yours can if over the 100k number
Yes, it is #156464, But F-02 only has 1 (wet) or 2 (gel) as a selection. No #3 comes up.

Wet and AGM are VERY close.  With AGM's in the absence of an AGM choice, absolutely use wet cell.

It sounds like they were well cared for most of their life.

BUT, recently totally discharged to dead.

So, replace them (unlikely they can be brought back if they remained dead for very long, but nothing to loose by trying) AND find out why your shore power/inverter-charger did not keep them charged.
That's my plan. The genset is charging as we speak. But this issue was after the coach sat for 2.5-3 months with the salesman switch in the off position. I didn't have shore power available.

One of those hard (and expensive) lessons one learns. From now on if I do park up without shore power. I'm pulling the cables on the house batteries.

Update. After a further 2 hours of charging. The unconnected batteries are at 12.3 V. (50%)

You mentioned you turn the battery charger on I leave mine on all the time the only thing I turn on and off is the inverter

After charging batteries I put a hand on the batteries if one is really hot I know that's a problem

Even with switch off there are some devices that are still running the batteries down

Your link 2000 may be updatable?  Verify software version?  Absolutely  need the BTMS.  The flooded profile is very close

That was only while checking out this current issue. Otherwise it's on when I'm plugged in.

As ours is outdoors in so cal the sun shines regularly.  Hence the solar and combiner.

Plugged in the combiner in auto mode would charge  both battery banks as needed with the charger on.

Less than the 1/5th C charge really need the gels and either way a btms

Do the same with the chassis batteries. There are parasitic loads that will run them down too.

Been doing that with the chassis. But not with the house side.

All the new coaches use a auto combiner.  Normal to have some solar also.
