Unicoach narrow bay door latch fix

Here's an easy fix for the narrow rear and front bay door latches.

Problem: On the Unicoach narrow bay doors, the linkage geometry provides very little movement of the release lever on the latch, making adjustment difficult and, IMO, unreliable. ... door does not reliably latch and/or unlatch.

Fix: A small extension properly attached to the arm of the operator handle will correct the geometry and provide full stroke of the release lever on the latch. (First pic) This makes adjustment far more forgiving and reliable. I made mine from aluminum with a milled register to prevent rotation (Pic 2), but 1/8" steel will work just as well. The extension is 2" overall length and the 1/4" holes are on 1-7/16" centers. The angle of the extension is about 55 Deg. CCW from vertical. In lieu of the milled register, one could drill a hole for a small screw, positioned so that the head of said screw will prevent rotation. Alternately, one could rely solely on friction via how tight the attaching screw is torqued. I'll advise against that for bays with not access from behind.
