Nason Pressue Switch

We will be the first to admit that we are not 100% sure we actually have an issue, lol
That being said, we think there is an issue with our small compressor. It never seems to run. About every 3 days (depending on the site) we have to start the engine to get enough air to re-level, at least we though we needed to build pressure first. Looking at the air schematic it appears that the small compressor doesn't add air to the tanks...
Note: we are sure there are some air leaks but can't get under there without blocks.
Note 2: we do not have a slide

So....
We have been going through the troubleshooting for our small compressor and have gotten to the point where it says "replace the pressure switch".  We can't find that part. Any ideas?  nason ws-1b-105-115r/adj (or nason ws-1b-10s-115r/adj)
Better question is: Do we even have an issue?

1. Are you sure that it doesn't run?  Can you jumper the pressure switch and make the compressor run?
2. Correct if it does then you have a check valve leak.
3.  I may have one and will look and see after Dr. appointment.
4. Your coach won't use much air to maintain level. Where the compressor is hid it will be hard to detect it running from inside. If the HWH system will maintain level without cranking the main engine then No. If you have to crank up to get air pressure for the HWH system then you may have either a compressor, computer, or wiring problem.

About the pressure switch.  Do you have a photo of it?  I'd like to see what it looks like.

I kinda looked around the Net this morning, and found out some possibly helpful (or not) info.

The Nason WS series switch is no longer in production.  It is considered (by Nason) to be a "vintage" design.  I find no mention of it in the current catalog.  I looked on eBay and found similar type "old stock" switches, but not the one you need.  Typical example below:

You could call or email Nason customer support, and see if they can suggest a substitute switch that they currently manufacture.

Or, you could call FOT and see if they have a replacement switch in stock, or can recommend a switch from another source.

Or, you can get creative and rustle up some other brand/type switch that will do the same job.  It's just a switch...  It turns a circuit on or off at some set pressure.  Can't be too complicated.

I added a picture to my original post.

We found a data cable that was slightly unseated. We are going to do more testing over the next week and see how it goes. Still believe the pressure switch is the issue, but want to be sure this cable wasn't the source of our issue.

To test the pump, unlevel your coach. Engine off. Use the brakes to bleed the air in the tanks to less than 70 lbs. The pump won't turn on if there is more than 70 lbs. Once the air is depleted hit the level button twice and the aux pump will turn on to re-level. You should be able to hear it run. If it doesn't then you might have a problem with it.

Or you can have someone push the raise button on the pad while you listen at the compressor and it should run.

I know this might be simple but I have shut off the breaker for the auxiliary compressor because it never fails to fire off at 2 AM and wakes me up.  Have to remember to turn it back on. It's in the 120 volt panel. Might want to take a peek.

This will only tell you if the pump will come on. It does not tell you if the pump comes on when it's SUPPOSED to.

Steve31 your aux compressor is probably the early Gast that runs off 110 power. The op has 97 U295 that runs off 12volt dc most likely.
