Roof AC Duotherm replacement

So I have watched the videos about replacing roof top ac units, and started to pull the old unit.  Replacing with a Brisk Air2.  It seems the new unit has one plug with 6 contacts.  The old unit, however does not have this plug;  it seems to be hardwired into the coach, with multiple bundles of wires connected to the old unit.  I'm kind of lost.  How do I proceed?

Weren't there any instructions with the unit? If not contact Brisk Air for information. Maybe someone on the Forum has done it, but a faster response would be to call now.

I recently changed out my Duo Therm control boards for a new model that supports their Comfort Control 2 thermostat.  The new boards came in an enclosure with the plug connections that you describe.  The control boards had to be removed from the enclosures to connect them to the existing wiring.  All wires easily relocated from the old board to the new. Maybe the Brisk Air also needs to be wired directly to its board, bypassing the plug.  Otherwise, you may need to add the plug.

And here I thought I could just plug and play!  After speaking with Dometic, it seems the old 4 button thermostat will have to be replaced, along with a new control board.  And rather than complicate things any more than they are by trying to combine the old penguin with the new unit, I have just ordered another Brisk Air to replace both old units. Probably going to need some assistance with the wiring.

If any one is interested, I now have a better understanding of changing out these units.  The old DuoTherm unit has to have a conversion kit, which includes a new circuit board, 5 Button thermostat, and icing sensor, in order to work with a newer model Dometic AC. The newer Dometic AC has to have a control board kit sold separately in order to be installed.  Dometic has sent me wiring diagrams for these components; if any one wants them, let me know.
