Found a wet surprise

As I was getting ready for a trip today, I went to move some towels that had been placed on top of the bedspread over a week ago. They were soaking, as was the bedspread and all the way down to the mattress.  We had one heck of a thunderstorm on Thursday the 10th. It was in the upper 90's when the cold front hit.
Has anyone else ever had their AC suck water into the cooling  lines and drip out in the vents?
I know we had 4+ inches of rain.  As badly stained as the mattress was, I suspect that this might have also occurred while she was in Nac during Imeldas pass over Texas. It was hot enough and I know the AC was in use.

Have you went up on the roof and checked the A/C cover to see if it is cracked letting water in?  Have seen this let water in.

Most likely suspect is a bad roof to A/C seal (that goes around the 14" X 14" roof opening.  You may be able to re-torque the 4 bolts, but if already compressed to less than 1/2 its original thickness, just replace it.

Yes, a cracked A/C cover can leak, but really easy to check.

That is where to start.

It may be a slide bladder problem. Had rain today and it started dripping out of the middle of the drivers bed slide. We deflated the bladders and hopefully got what ever was causing the leak, will recheck if it starts raining. Considering that the coach has been sitting outside for two years, I wonder if a bit of pollen or other dirt or debris may have caused the leak? Any thoughts?

I had the same thing happen to me. The pressure to the bladders was only 8.5 psi. They adjusted it to a little bit over 12 and all is well again. Something to check. You can always open slide and get a water hose and check also. Better to check now then come back from somewhere and water is pouring inside like me.

Probably something more substantial.  In my case it was a wire that had fallen down with others when the OEM plastic cable clamp broke.
