Generator enclosure insulation

I have search the forum and haven't found a good conclusive answer to what is a good heat/sound insulation for the inside of the generator enclosure. I have a Powertech Generator that is enclosed and the insulation as it has been noted in the past has crumbled and fell off and I would like to replace it. Has anybody come across a good insulation to glue to the inside of the box to help with sound that will also take the heat that is given off by the generator.

Thanks
Keith

I replaced my generator compartment insulation three years ago with a product that has worked well so far.  Once I was able to access the interior panels, the insulation was easy to cut and apply.

Used this on my sailboat engine room and will use it when I redo the engine and generator space on the coach. Its more expensive maybe but you get what you pay for.

Soundown

Yep.  Way more effective sound attenuation than a foam only product.

This is what I used, from the "Sound Proof Cow:
"Premium Soundproof Barrier Material and Solutions | Soundproof Cow

Getting the box clean enough for the self stick adhesive was a chore. I removed, and reinstalled, the gen box for proper cleaning and installation of the sound material. The removal and reinstallation was a BEAR, I had to tap into my expanded naval vocabulary AND reduce the height of the box by 3/8 of an inch to reinstall.
