Finding blank wires at rear of coach

I have been looking for the blank wires that go from the dash to the rear of the coach. I have found 3 wires at the very rear that come
out of the loom with the trailer brakes wire. I found another wire in the loom by the air conditioner compressor. There are 3 more
blank wires that are in the dash compartment that I can't find. They enter into the same group of wires that the first blanks did only about a foot from the end.

Check old posts for detailed info. Buy a wire finder from HD/Amazon/hardware store like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=wire+finder+toner&crid=1PLVN4IU0AGJC&sprefix=wire+finder%2Caps%2C244&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_11 . Inexpensive ones do the job well.

Thanks Pierce, I have one that's how I found the one by the air conditioner compressor. The three that I am looking for I lose
as soon as I get under the coach.

Won't help you any but 25 years ago I bought a 72 Convintional kw extended hood and rebuilt it from the ground up.. We cut out 2 bushel baskets full of wire that went nowhere.. Point being who knows what previous owners did wire wise.. One thing that will get a driver fired here is to cut into the electrical anywhere. my mechanic installs their cb radios.

One end of the loom is folded over by the driver's left knee and the steering column. The other end on ours is down in the engine compartment on the left side as I remember. Quite a few wires perhaps 8 or so. I found them about 8 or more years ago so can't remember all the details.

You probably have another bundle going from the tiny right window compartment to the compartment overhead.

I also have a wire at the rear of the coach that is hot all the time and I would like to change it to only be hot when the ignition it on.
It's for charging the toad or a trailer battery. I have no idea where it get's it's power. The tone tracer doesn't work on it, probably
as it is hot. I may have to disconnect the battery to trace it.

Is there a number on it-- look it up on the coach wiring diagram
OR
Pull fuses until it is no longer hot.

And, yup, plenty of ignition-hot sources in the engine room.

Are you talking about the extra wires that Foretravel put in the wiring looms for future use by owners?  In my coach there are three sets of extra wires: one set comes out of the trailer harness at the back of coach, another comes out at the front overhead tv area, and the other set comes out were the engine computer is.  They all originate at the front dash area.  If you look in the wiring list in your book you will see them listed there.  My wires are labeled EX1-2088 through EX6-2088, EX1-38492 through EX3-38492 and EX1-38198 through EX5-38198.  I have used one of those wires to run power back to my toad.  I got the power by adding a new breaker to the breaker panel in the front of the coach.  You might look there for your powered cable. I used another extra wire to add an on- off switch  for the HWH compressor in the rocker switches next to the driver seat.

It's a 16 gauge red wire which is too small for a charge wire so I have looked for a ignition source of power in the engine compartment
but haven't found one yet. There is a solenoid above the boost solenoid I think may come on when the engine is on which I will check
when I start the engine and I will use that for the charge wire. The red wire and other wires that I'm looking for are not important
right now but I like to know how things work.

You can use the hot lead from the engine hour clock. If you need more amps use it connected to a relay that powers up a lead from the batteries.
